Seattle Police: Right or Wrong?

I know everyone has seen the news and headlines regarding the fist to the face a Seattle police handed to a teenage girl. Many of you say it was the correct course of action while others say it went to far. Personally, I am not a fan of the man or woman who puts on a badge and act as if they are above the law. Police around the U.S. need a quick understanding that they can not do as they feel because they have a badge and gun. Daily the bad seeds that do exist in the police force get away with harrassment, brutality, and abuse of authority, but this needs to stop and the immunity that is given to these guys and gals in uniform needs to be put to an end before citizens begin to take action against the police.
What if the citizens that stood around the event would have taken on the police??? Police officers are nothing more than tax paying employees and citizens just as other people, and that's something they need to be made aware of.
