"Presidential Election 2008"

October 23rd 2008 19:37
Hello, it's been a few weeks since I have blessed you all with my presence!!! Just kidding!!! The decision of our lives will be before us in less than 2 weeks and we as a people, as a country, as God's seeds of the Earth must make a wise decision. I just hope that each individual makes their decision based on FACTS. It is time for change, it's time that more attention be given to the 40 hour a week laborers and tax payers who don't see salaries that consist of hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. We have all been hurt by the economic conditions that our government have inflicted upon our livelihoods, so make sure that you take your right to vote seriously.

"Healthier America"

September 2nd 2008 18:31
As many of us attempt to improve our health and our country, we are going green, exercising regularly, and taking on better eating habits, but we have not considered the advancements of massage. Massage is very important to our health as it relieves stress and tension and gives our immune system some empowerment!!!

We need to consider that stress can lead to strokes and heart attacks, and adding massage into our exercising and eating trends can improve us in many ways. And to save some cash, why not learn massage ourselves??? Learning massage techniques will make the massage therapists mad but will make our bodies happy!!! Many instructional guides are available, so find one that is best for you and improve your health today!!!!

Lets Keep America Healthy!!!

"Freedom of Speech to an Extent"

August 20th 2008 14:21
We live in a country with so many contradicting laws that it is ridiculous, but today I am going to start with the "Freedom of Speech." Why is it that a lady was arrested for using the F-Word in Walmart or what is "ridiculing a police officer?" We have some of the most absurd laws. We live in a country where police officers are allowed to abuse their power daily, by simply going 70 mph in a 45 mph zone when there isn't an emergency. Or on the other hand, they're allowed to curse and belittle you, but you will be arrested for responding--"disrepecting a police officer." It's quite hilarious that the justice system would allow officers to arrest someone for such nonsense. These are charges that do nothing more than waste paperwork, court time, labor, and tax payers' money.

Freedom of Speech---more like watch your mouth!!!

"English is the American Way"

July 25th 2008 18:53
Lately everywhere you look from the instructions inside a new product to grocery products have the Spanish and English versions printed. This is America where the English language has been our foundation forever. Whether it's slang, country, or city, pronounced "they" or "dey", it's all English. If foreigners are going to be allowed to live in our country, work in our country, and operate businesses in our country then the English language should be an obligation. I should not go to a store owned by Chinese and they begin speaking in Chinese or I shouldn't be in a Mexican restaurant and the workers are speaking in Spanish. This is America people and if we are going to welcome legal immigrants then taxes, literacy, and language should be top priority as it is for all American citizens. There shouldn't be any substitutions to accomodate people who desire to live here, because there are already too many welcoming mats for immigrants that are unfair to American citizens.

"Skill or Record"

July 14th 2008 16:17
The unemployment rate continues to rise and employers' continue to make background checks a condition of employment.

Why would you not hire someone with a record?

This individual could possibly be your most productive and reliable employee, but instead you hire the individual without a record and they quit the job in a month. Everyone makes mistakes and the only thing that distinguishes most of the people in the world is that those with the charges got caught and those without them, didn't get caught. Denying someone of a job when their charge is old or irrelevant to the job's skill requirement is totally insane. America says that everyone should make an honest day's pay, but it should say that everyone should be given the chance to make an honest day's pay. We live in a judgemental world from judging on race and sexuality to criminal records. Jobs are based on skill record not criminal record, though a pedafile shouldn't work with children and an embezzeler shouldn't work at a bank, an embezzeler shouldn't be denied a job as a bus driver because of an embezzelment charge. This is simply not logical and needs to change.

"Cast Out by Homosexuality"

June 26th 2008 18:32
It is 2008 and sexual orientation is a hot topic!!! But WHY???

Why is it important to the world whether or not two consenting adults of the same sex are in a relationship? I know, I know---it's a sin. But have we forgotten that "no sin is greater than the other" and most importantly---"judge not." If all the homophobics in the world actually believe that adultery, hatred, murder, etc is going to get you into the pearly gates before a homosexual---YOU'RE INSANE

Opinion: Is Hip Hop really dead?

October 13th 2006 08:09
Not too long ago, 50 Cent released a mixtape entitled ‘Hip Hop is Dead’. In fact, I first heard of this from a fellow Orble Blogger, Trina. Check out her blog: http://www.hiphop.com.au

In fact, 50 Cent stole the idea from Nas who’s first album under ‘Def Jam Records’ is also entitled ‘Hip Hop is Dead

Opinion: Topping Hip Hop

September 18th 2006 12:15
"Kanye and 50 [Cent] are the same artist with just two different poles to me. Like, whereas 50 got shot and had to come back in the game, get on the streets and sell his mixtapes until he became the number one artist because of his hustle; Kanye did the same thing a year later - except by getting in a car accident.". – Talib Kweli

This, taken from an interview between Kweli and allhiphop.com’s Abran Maldonado. The quote got me thinking about the hip hop game, and what it takes to reach the top

Opinion: 50 Cents or a Billion Bucks?

August 21st 2006 01:48
Is Curtus Jackson a modest 50 cent, or an arrogant, self-adoring billion bucks? I’m convinced he’s the latter.

50 Cent
50 has amassed an army of hits and there’s no denying that he is the biggest hip hop artist today. So when did the fame go to his head? To tell you the truth, I don’t know. Maybe he was born an egotistical maniac
