The MTV Europe Awards 2006

The MTV Europe awards were held last night in Copenhagen and proved successful for ex-N*sync member, Justin Timberlake.
Not only did he host the awards, but he also won the awards for best pop act and best male artist.
He jokingly said that he won the best pop award because he agreed to host the evening.
One person that wasn’t so happy was Kanye West who was expecting to win the video category. The winner of the award was Justice Vs Simian with ‘We Are Your Friends’. It beats me whoever the hell they are.
Kanye claimed to have worked an entire month on the ‘Touch the Sky’ video and was disappointed to miss out on the award. You’d think, after all he’s been through, he’d be just a little bit modest, if not happy to be alive.
He even said:
"That was some complete bullshit, a spreading-the-wealth type thing."
The urban artists who performed include Nelly Furtado, P. Diddy, and Snoop Dogg.
Some of the night’s other successful artists included Gnarls Barkley, Christina Aguilera, Depeche Mode, The Killers, and Muse.
