Fat Freddy's Drop @ The Forum

Fat Freddy's Drop is, currently, one of my favourite acts full stop. My love for reggae is undeniable, but when a band can take it and mesh it with a little jazz and a whole lot of soul, you've got one delicious recipe of music.
Call them reggae, call them R&B, whatever. Lets forget about genres and just think about how good they are.
Check them out as they perform @ the forum (opposite Hordon Pavillion).
Here's a release from moshtix.com.au and some info:
New Zealand favourites Fat Freddy's Drop sail across the Tasman in October for a Spring fix of Australian sun, bouncing beats and bottom heavy basslines, laced with their trademark hypnotic dub and mystic soul grooves.
Step out of the rush and let Freddy's Mystic soul connections wash over you
Where? The Forum (opposite Hordon Pavillion, Moore Park).
When? 14th October, 2006

Take care and peace out...
PS: I'll be sure to post an artist spotlight on the Freddy's soon.
