Fake Paris albums seem to be a hit

You guys might remember the recent entry I did on Paris Hilton’s exceedingly low sales number on her debut album. If not, CLICK HERE to read about it.
The Sydney Morning Herald has reported the sale and distribution of 500 copies of fake Paris Hilton albums across 48 stores in Britain.
The parody album – created by ‘Guerilla Artist’ Banksy - included altered cd covers with fake nudes of the hotel mistress. They also included remixed versions of songs. One example of this is the song entitled ‘Why Am I Famous?, What Have I Done? and What Am I For?’
Something I find quite funny about the whole situation is that not even one customer made a complaint or returned the album. It looks like this album is a big hit. Beats the original any day.
It seems to me that Banksy and I aren’t the only ones sharing a diminished view of “Dirty Paris”.
Take care and peace out…
