Fabolous and Telfair in a criminal coincidence

October 19th 2006 09:42
Fabolous has been hit with a weapons charge; he also got shot.

Fabolous
John Jackson aka. Fabolous
The rapper, whose real name is John Jackson (not to be confused with Jack Johnson), was shot in the thigh outside P. Diddy’s restaurant: Justin’s, on Tuesday morning.

Fab was rushed to hospital by his friends: Rascharm Davis, Percell German and Kevin Bass. On the way there, police stopped them for running a red light and noticed Fabolous’ wounds. They checked the car and found a .380 semiautomatic and a .40 caliber firearm.

Both weapons were loaded and one of them had a scratched off serial number. Fabolous was taken to hospital while his three goons were escorted to the local police station.

Since the incident, Fabolous has been posted $15,000 bail and was released. He will be due back in court on Friday October 27.

Sebastian Telfair
Sebastian Telfair: Formally of the Portland Trailblazers. He was traded to the Celtics this offseason.
Police also believed a possible connection between the incident and a robbery involving NBA point guard, Sebastian Telfair, of the Boston Celtics.

Telfair was robbed outside the same restaurant on the same evening. A coincidence or something more sinister? Telfair’s necklace chain (worth about $50,000) was ripped off his neck.

Fab was included in one of four suspect lineups and was not identified by Telfair as the “bling bling” bandit.

The police are still investigating both incidents.

Take care and peace out…

You're telling me. I really liked him coming out of high shool. I saw some phenomenal videos of him.

Keep in mind he came steaight out of high school. The only highschooler who DIDN'T under-achieve at the beginning of his career was Lebron. ---> You could make a case for Kobe, but he wasn't a starter at the Lakers (thanks to Eddie Jones).

Players who perfectly fit the mold of high school ballers who took heaps long to develop:
Tracy McGrady, Jermaine O'Neal, Shawn Kemp, Kevin Garnett...

Thos who STILL sick: Kwame Brown, Al Harrington, Jonathon Bender, Telfair (as already mentioned). Um, that's all I can think of for now.
